![]() ![]() They did and I returned the refurbished Galaxy J7 that never worked correctly. When I called them and told them the Galaxy J7 was acting the way it was, they told me they would send me a Galaxy S8 as a one for one swap. If you had a J7 then you need to question why in the world they are charging you 673.53 for a 239 dollar phone. As we did not get the phone wet and it never worked well from day one, I suspect the "refurbished" phone was not in fact refurbished and was sent out faulty. I contacted AT&T again and was told they would not honor the credit and that I would need to pay the $673.53 for the faulty refurbished phone they sent me. I recently received my March 2018 bill and the charge of $673.53 is still showing on my account. After reviewing my complaint and the fact that we never got the phone wet, the AT&T customer service representative said they would credit my account $674.00 for the phone (case #CM20180225 131306983) and that my balance due after the credit was $0. I called AT&T when this charge showed up on our bill in Feb 2018. We did not get the phone wet and no water damage ever occurred from us. We returned the J7 and a few months later, we received the J7 back stating it had evidence of water damage and we would need to pay $674.00 for the phone. After a few months this got worse and we called AT&T and was told they would replace the Galaxy J7 with a Galaxy S8 at no charge. Upon receiving our devices, the refurbished Galaxy J7 kept freezing and lagging and many apps would crash. We switched to AT&T mobile services July of 2017.
